FILE - In this Dec. 16, 2015 file photo, characters from the file, including stormtroopers and Darth Vader pose for photographers upon arrival at the European premiere of the film 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens ' in London. Turner networks TNT and TBS will be the exclusive basic-cable homes for all the “Star Wars” feature films, thanks to a multiyear deal with the films’ studios. The deal, announced Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, includes the network premieres of last year’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and the upcoming “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” opening in theaters in December. There is a new “Star Wars” trilogy in the works but it will be separate from the “Skywalker Saga” which is the stories told in episodes 1 through 9. The upcoming trilogy will focus on new stories and characters but we are not sure when it takes or if any pre existing characters will make an appearance.
