State of emergency issued in Nassau & Suffolk County

Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine and Nassau Executive Bruce Blakeman have issued a state of emergency in preparation for the incoming storm expected to hit Long Island Tuesday evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch and high wind warning. Both are in effect from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning.
