State police say an NYPD officer from Shirley was killed in a single-car crash Sunday morning on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 13 in North Valley Stream.
32-year-old Clifford Saintvil ran off the road and hit a tree on the right shoulder. He was an officer at the 113th Precinct in Queens.
