The Long Island Rail Road’s Ronkonkoma branch was partially shut down last night after a train struck an SUV in Wyandanch.
Suffolk Police say the crash happened Thursday around 5:30. The driver of the vehicle was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. service on the Ronkonkoma branch was restored a few hours later.
