Suffolk County Police arrested two employees at the Birchwood Suites Assisted Living facility in East Northport for using a resident’s debit card to make unauthorized purchases between May and July of last year.
The two healthcare aides used a resident’s debit card to make unauthorized purchases and to make a cash withdrawal from an ATM. Following an investigation, detectives determined the purchases and withdraws totaled more than $10,000.
