Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman has called for the resignation of Hofstra University President Susan Poser for her response to the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas.
Poser released statements on the attack in October saying “We mourn the loss of life in Israel and Gaza, which is deeply affecting many members of our community” adding “There is a complex history and conflicting views about the current crisis”
The Board of Trustees at Hofstra wrote back to Blakeman indicating it would stand by Poser.
