Temptations Hookah Bar and Lounge located on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont has been shut down and its owner is under arrest.
According to police an investigation revealed the bar was operating without a valid New York state liquor license.
Officers also said there was gambling machines present inside the establishment.
The Town of Hempstead Buildings Department and the Nassau County Fire Marshal issued the owner multiple summonses and the location was boarded, locked and secured.
