Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School was evacuated Wednesday due to a threat made.
Students were taken to another school accompanied by their teachers while Nassau County police searched the building.
There was also a scare at Amagansett Schools where police say the district got an email saying bombs had been placed in schools. Nothing suspicious was found at any of the schools.
Gov. Hochul’s office says more than 10 school districts statewide received threats on Wednesday.
