Nassau County police officers assisted with a baby delivery in a car in Uniondale on Tuesday morning.
At 8:40 a.m., police responded to a call of a women going into labor. They found a pregnant woman seated in the front seat of a passenger vehicle actively in labor.
The Officers were assisted by two Nassau County Police medics and successfully delivered a healthy baby girl.
Officers transported the mother and child in stable condition to a local nearby hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
