After the Hamas terror attack on Israel, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that New York will have an increase police presence near Jewish communities and places of worship.
The governor also said that her office is in close communication with Jewish leaders and the FBI. So far, she said, there are no threats to New York at this time.
