Catherine Rinaldi, the interim president of the Long Island Rail Road announced Monday she is stepping down. She assumed the role of interim president in February 2022. Rinaldi, who also serves as president of Metro-North says she will continue in that roll.
Robert Free, the LIRR senior vice president of operations, will become acting president.
