In its second day of full service, the brand new Grand Central Madison terminal dealt with signal troubles, leaky ceilings, and crowded trains.

Several trains originally bound for Grand Central Madison were instead detoured to Penn Station because of what the railroad called “a signal problem”. Water leaked down from the ceiling on the mezzanine level, which an MTA spokesman said came from trains on the upper track level.

Commuters also complained about crowding conditions, due to several trains being removed from the schedule and trains with fewer cars than usual.
