It only came out in December and already Avatar: The Way of Water is the third highest grossing film of all time. The James Cameron film outdid another James Cameron film, Titanic. In The U.S the film is number nine of all time. Avatar still stands at #1 and Avengers Endgame is #2 and the only film in the top four not directed by James Cameron.
