After initially saying he was not ready to concede on election night, Lee Zeldin, who was running against Kathy Hochul for governor, sent a message of congratulations Wednesday afternoon for her win.

In a statement from Zeldin said “I would like to congratulate New York Governor Kathy Hochul on her election to a full, four-year term,” and thanked his campaign workers.
