A Miller Place home has been condemned and its owner arrested after more than 300 animals and 100,000 roaches were allegedly found on her property.
Firefighters were called to the home and found 118 rabbits, 150 birds, and several other types of animals. Authorities say the air was so noxious in the house no one could stay inside for long.
The ASPCA says the animals are expected to live. The home owner faces a misdemeanor animal cruelty charge.
