Flood Watch in effect for Long Island

East Farmingdale, NY- A Flood Watch is in effect for Long Island and the surrounding areas through 6pm Tuesday. The National Weather Service predicts Tuesday’s storm could produce rain fall totals in the amount of two to four inches. Localized street flooding is possible. WALK-FM Chief Meteorologist Pat Pagano, says the rain “could be heavy at time and even produce a thunderstorm”. High temperatures on Tuesday are expected to reach 70 degrees.
