Hochul announces COVID-19 plans for 2022-2023 school year

East Farmingdale, NY- As the 2022-2023 school year approaches New York State Governor Kathy Hochul on Monday unveiled New York’s plan for handling COVID-19. At a press conference in Albany Hochul said “The big news is, no more quarantining, no more test to stay and the days of sending an entire classroom home because one person was positive or symptomatic, are over”. State officials said they will be closely following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidelines even as COVID-19 cases on Long Island remain high.
