Shirley, NY- A Shirley man was struck and killed Monday in a crash on the William Floyd Parkway. Suffolk County Police say 59-year-old Frank Brandimarte was attempting to cross from west to east just south of the LIRR crossing, at approximately 9:30pm, when he was hit by a 2016 Honda Civic that was heading southbound. The Civic was impounded for a safety check. Bradimarte, was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the Seventh Squad are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call 631-852-8752.
