Coram, NY– An elderly man died Tuesday night after crashing his vehicle into the back of a tow truck on County Road 83 in Coram. Suffolk County Police say 83-year-old Preston Pavlo, of Mount Sinai, was driving southbound near Mooney Pond Road when he collided with the back of a tow truck that was parked in the left lane. Officials say the two truck was in the process of removing a vehicle from a previous accident at the time of the collision. Pavlo was pronounced dead at the scene.
