East Farmingdale, NY- The Suffolk County Department of Health has issued “an advisory against bathing” for 47 beaches based om the potential that bacteria is above New York State Standards.
Department of Health Officials say the advisory will be lifted Tuesday, July 20, 2022, unless sampling reveals elevated levels of bacteria persisting beyond the 24-hour period.
