Centereach, NY- Police say a toddler is listed in serious condition at the hospital, after being found Tuesday night, unresponsive in a families backyard pool. Officials say they were called to 2 Barbara Drive in Centereach at approximately 6:25pm, after the body of a 2-year-old boy, was pulled from the water. The child, who is a relative of the homeowner, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. Detectives say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
