Babylon man killed in crash on the LIE

Manorville, NY- A Long Island man was killed in a crash Thursday night on the Long Island Expressway. Police say Matthew Lightsey, 22, of Babylon, was traveling westbound between exits 69-68, in a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe, when he lost control of the vehicle at approximately 6:30pm. Officials say Lightsey’s vehicle struck a bridge and overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
