Holtsville, NY- A man was struck and killed Wednesday night by a hit and run driver, while he and his friend, worked on his pick up truck, in front of his home. Police say it was around 5:30 last night when Ryan Walker was working on his pick up truck with a friend in front of Walkers home at 5474 Express Drive South in Holtsville, when the pair were struck by a hit and run driver. Walker was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Walker’s friend, Robert Kehlembeck, 46, of Selden, was also taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he is being treated for serious physical injuries. Police have not released a description of the vehicle involved in the accident at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
