Hauppauge, NY- A Ronkonkoma woman was killed Saturday afternoon as a result of a head-on collision in Hauppauge. Police say around 2pm, Edith H. Flores, 62, of Shirley, was heading westbound on Hauppauge Road when she made a left turn onto Terry Road and crashed head-on into a 2016 Honda CR-V that was being driven by Carol Anne Faulhaber. Faulbaber, 71, of Ronkonkoma, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where she was pronounced dead. Flores, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
