Nassau & Suffolk lawmakers team up to bring lower prices to the pump

East Farmingdale, NY- Lawmakers in Nassau and Suffolk County have teamed up to lower gas prices on Long Island. Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone say they announce a cap on local sales tax for gasoline. The New York State Legislature has agreed to take 16 cent off per gallon of gasoline, starting June 1st.
