Bellmore, NY- Police in Nassau County are asking anyone who witnessed a crash last night around 10pm in Bellmore to give them a call. Officials say a 20-year-old woman was crossing Sunrise Highway at Bedford Avenue, when she was struck by a vehicle, that kept going. The victim suffered a serious head injury and is listed in critical condition. Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
