NEW YORK (AP) – The Foo Fighters are calling off all their scheduled tour dates after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. The band members say in a statement, “Let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.” Hawkins died last week while the band was on tour in Bogota, Colombia. The hiatus will mean the group will not do their scheduled performance at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.
