(Brentwood, NY)- A Long Island man was seriously injured early Tuesday morning in a crash on the Long Island Expressway. Police say Steven Flores Diaz, 25, of Central Islip was driving a 2000 Ford truck eastbound when he lost control and flipped over by exit 51. Officials say the crash happened just before 1am. Diaz was transported to Good Sam Hospital in West Islip, for treatment of serious injuries. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Suffolk’s 2nd precinct at 631-854-8252.
