(Setauket, NY)- A Long Island mother died in a house fire early Friday morning in Setauket. Suffolk County Police say they received a call about a fire at 360 Old Town Road just after 12am. Authorities say Stephen Ortner, 30, a resident of the home was able to escape the fire with his 10 month old son. Lisa Ostorowski, 31, was found dead inside the home once the fire was extinguished. Ortner and his infant were transported to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The fire is believed to be non criminal in nature.
