NEW YORK (AP) — The accounting firm that prepared former President Donald Trump’s financial statements says that information — used to secure loans and build the brand — “should no longer be relied upon.” The declaration from Mazars USA LLP comes after New York’s attorney general said the documents regularly misstated the value of assets. In response to that declaration, the company is asking anyone who got the documents not to use them when assessing the financial health of Trump and of his companies. The firm also says it is cutting ties with Trump.
