Patchogue man arrested on charges including public lewdness

(Patchogue, NY)- A Patchogue man was arrested over the weekend after police say he exposed himself on at least two occasions to community members at the Terry Apartments on Rider Avenue. Officials say a woman called 9-1-1 on Sunday to report that a man had exposed himself to her in the lobby of the building. Police say another woman also reported to the building’s superintendent that a man had committed a lewd act in front of her and a child in the same lobby the day before. Officials say following an investigation, Jerry Sibony, 67, who resides in apartment 137 at the Terry Apartments was arrested on three counts of Public Lewdness and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a minor. Sibony is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 17, 2022.
