(Melville, NY)- A child was found unresponsive in a Long Island hotel pool on Thursday afternoon. Suffolk County Police say the child was located by a family member at the Marriot Melville Long Island hotel, located at 1359 Walt Whitman Road in Melville, just before 5pm. The child, Katlyn Pineda, 7, of the Bronx was transported to Plainview Hospital in critical condition and later transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Queens.
