A 29-year-old man from Brooklyn was arrested for allegedly trying to kill his parents inside their Hewlett Harbor home on Christmas morning.
Police say they were called to the home around 10 a.m. That’s when officers found a 64-year-old woman shot in the head and a 65-year-old man shot in the back.
Both victims were conscious and alert when they were rushed to the hospital.
The Suspect was arrested in New Jersey; police have not released a motive for the incident.
