North Babylon, NY- A gun was fired Tuesday night, inside a Long Island LA Fitness location. Police in Suffolk County say the suspect with the gun, Noah Haynes, 18 of Wyandanch, was pinned down by patrons at the gym, located at 1230 Deer Park Ave, North Babylon, until authorities arrived. Officials say no one was seriously injured but that Haynes, allegedly also slashed an unidentified 17-year-old patron with a sharp object in the locker room. The 17-year-old was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Haynes, 18, of Wyandanch, with Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, Menacing, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree.
