East Farmingdale, NY- Finding a COVID-19 test site or a take home rapid test in Suffolk County has not been easy. Long lines have been spotted at walk-in testing facilities across the county and residents have been finding store shelves empty when they look to buy rapid tests. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced that the county will open three COVID-19 test sites, to help ease the rising demand. The new COVID-19 testing locations in Suffolk are planned for Westhampton, West Sayville and Sound Beach. The Westhampton site will be at Gabreski Airport. The specific details about the locations in West Sayville and Sound Beach have not been made available.
