East Farmingdale, NY- Suffolk County Police granted a holiday wish for a Long Island teenager. Members of the Fifth Precinct in partnership with the law enforcement based organization, With Arms Wide Open, made a holiday wish come true for a special needs Bayport teenager- a ride in a police car with Santa! On Thursday morning, police officers picked up Jacob Slager, 16, at his home and traveled with him to his school, Eastern Suffolk BOCES Brookhaven Learning Center in Bellport. The police officers along with Santa, Jacob and his classmates all shared a visit and breakfast courtesy of With Arms Wide Open.
