Bay Shore, NY- A Suffolk County teenager was killed early Tuesday morning in a single vehicle crash. Suffolk County Police say a 17 year old male was driving a 2018 Infinity Q50 eastbound on Pine Air Drive near Taylor Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle around 12:30am. Police say the vehicle crossed over the westbound lane of traffic and struck a pole and overturned. Joel Rodriguez, 17, of Bay Shore, a front seat passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
