PD: 2 young children seriously injured in Tuesday night crash

Medford, NY- Two young children were seriously injured in a crash Tuesday night in Medford. Police in Suffolk say Kayla Kimble, 25, was driving a 2017 Hyundai Tuscon southbound on Horseblock Road with her three children in the vehicle, when they were hit by a northbound 2007 Mitsubishi Galant, that was trying to turn left on to Express Drive North at approximately 6:15pm.

Kimble and her three sons were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. Two of the three children are listed in serious condition including three-month-old Julias Riveria and 22-month-old Izage Riveria. Kimble and her eldest son, Markus Maduro, age 6, were treated for non life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, Narzisa Lliguin-Guallpa, 46, of Ronkonkoma, and three adult passengers, were transported to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
