New York COVID-19 cases on the rise

New York is continuing to see an increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations for the month of November

Last week Nearly 6,100 people a day tested positive for COVID-19 in New York State up 22% from the week before. That’s the highest seven-day average since mid-April.

The latest federal data show more than two-thirds of New Yorkers are fully vaccinated.

Gov. Hochul is calling on unvaccinated New Yorkers to get vaccinated and those who are vaccinated to get a booster.
