LIRR will add extra service for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

East Farmingdale, NY- It’s back to normal this Thanksgiving, with the return of spectators at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan. The Long Island Rail Road will be offering extra service to help parade goers get into and out of the city with additional trains running through Penn Station. Thursday, the Ronkonkoma Branch will add six additional trains, the Port Jefferson Branch will add four trains and the Montauk Branch will add two additional trains.
