East Quogue, NY- An 18-year-old Selden man was killed on the job yesterday after the dump truck he was driving struck electrical wires at a job-site in East Quogue. Officials say Luigi T. Cicillini, was operating a dump truck at the East Coast Mines and Materials on Lewis Road Wednesday, when he struck overhead electrical wires at approximately 3:10pm. A report from Southampton Town Police indicates that Cicillini, was electrocuted as he exited the vehicle. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries. Southampton Town Police Officials say the accident is under investigation by Southampton Fire Marshall, Southampton Town Detectives and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Mine Safety Health Administration.
