East Farmingdale, NY- A coastal storm that’s expected to wallop the U.S. Capitol area with dangerous flooding on Friday, will move move north and arrive on Long Island in the evening. The National Weather Service expects that the storm will continue heavy overnight Friday and taper off sometime on Saturday. A Wind Advisory is in effect, winds could gust up to 50 miles per hour. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect through Saturday during times of high tide.
