UPDATE: Suffolk County Police arrested an Albany man for stabbing a Coram woman to death at her home. Homicide Squad detectives arrested Kason Parker on October 24 and charged him with Murder 2nd Degree. Parker, 33, of 11 Teunis St., Albany, will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
CORAM, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Suffolk County are investigating the death of a woman found fatally stabbed outside her home in Coram. Police say they received a 911 call at approximately 4:45 p.m. Saturday and arrived to find 27-year-old Meghan Kiefer on the front lawn of the residence at 19 Harford Drive. Kiefer was taken to Stony Brook Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police are asking anyone with information to call Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
