$4k reward offered to find person who shot a cat on the East End

Aquabogue, NY- The Suffolk County SPCA and Strong Island rescue are offering a $4,000 reward to find the person who shot a cat named, Abraham earlier this month on the East End.

Officials say on “Monday, October 11. 2021, a cat was found injured in the vicinity of Southfields Road and West Lane, Aquebogue, NY. The male cat named Abraham by it”s rescuers, was taken to an animal hospital where it was determined that it had been shot with a pellet that is lodged in its spine”.


The Suffolk County SPCA and Strong Island Rescue are offering a total reward of $4,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this heinous act of animal cruelty.
