Riverside, NY- Officials in Suffolk County are asking for the public’s help in locating a pick up truck that they say, was involved in a hit and run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian. According to Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers a pedestrian was struck by a two tone, white and black, Dodge Ram 1500 pick up truck while crossing in front of 269 Riverleigh Avenue (County Road 104) on Thursday, October 7th at 7:09pm. Police say the vehicle struck the pedestrian and continued southbound without stopping or reporting the crash, The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the accident.
