Disaster Recovery Centers Open in Nassau, Suffolk Counties

FEMA has opened Disaster Recovery Centers in Nassau and Suffolk counties at:
Michael J. Tully Park Physical Activity Center, 1801 Evergreen Ave., New Hyde Park, NY 11040
Rose Caracappa Senior Center, 739 NY-25A, Mount Sinai, NY 11766
Hours of operation: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
You can meet face-to-face with FEMA staffers and representatives of other federal and state agencies.
FEMA encourages those who wish to apply for federal assistance do so before visiting a DRC.
If you have not already applied for help, you can do so at the DRC.

Those who have already registered with FEMA for assistance need not register again.
To apply for FEMA help, visit DisasterAssistance.gov, use the FEMA mobile app or call 800.621.3362.

Operators are on duty seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Multilingual operators are available.

If you use a relay service such as a videophone, InnoCaption, orCapTel, give FEMA the number for that service.
