Two shot in two shootings overnight in Suffolk

East Farmingdale, NY- Two people were shot overnight in two separate shootings in Suffolk County. The first call of a shooting came in just before midnight on Tuesday in Port Jefferson Station. Police say a 911 caller reported a man had been shot outside a house party on 95 Pine Street. Officials say the victim a 26-year-old man from Freeport, was found with two gunshot wounds transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Hours later, authorities received another 911 call of a man shot, this time in North Lindenhurst. Officials say around 1am, they received a call of a man shot in front of 115 6th Street. When they arrived, officers found a 41-year-old Bay Shore man, with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
