East Farmingdale, NY- Tropical Storm Fred has downgraded to a Tropical Depression and has continued to swirl through the mid-Atlantic states sparking tornadoes, drenching towns and knocking down trees and power lines. Tropical Depression Fred will continue its track to the north moving on a diagonal path from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Portland, Maine. Forecasters say most of TD Fred will stay to the north and west of Long Island but we should see rain from Fred, develop Wednesday night and continue through Thursday.
