Heatwave: Cooling centers now open in Nassau

East Farmingdale, NY-  The National Weather Service has issued a High Heat Warning in effect for parts of Nassau and Suffolk Counties from Wednesday morning through Thursday night. A Heat Advisory is issued when combined heat and humidity levels will make it feel like temperatures are in the upper 90’s near 100 degrees for two or more days in a row.

The following Cooling Centers will be open in Nassau County starting today through Thursday.
