Man arrested for stealing the identities of 3 Long Island senior citizens

Brentwood, NY-  A Brentwood man is in police custody accused of stealing the identities of three Long Island senior citizens.  Police say Darrel Sharpeson, 37, of Brentwood, used the personal information of three senior citizens who reside at Atria Bay Shore, to shop at Apple stores in multiple states.  Sharpeson, of 127 Westwood Drive, was charged with three counts of Identity Theft 1st Degree and six counts of Identity Theft 2nd Degree.  Anyone who believes they may be a victim of Sharpeson is asked to contact the Financial Crimes Unit at 631-852-6120 or the non-emergency police phone number, 631-852-COPS (2677).
